An Unforgettable Journey

Embark on an unforgettable adventure to North Cape, where our primary quest is to witness the magical midnight sun. While we can’t guarantee sunshine due to mother nature, North Cape offers a spectacular experience regardless of the weather. The journey and the destination are well worth the effort.

The Journey Begins in Alta

Our expedition starts in Alta, where you will board a comfortable minibus with an experienced local driver and guide. The journey takes us through the stunning landscapes of Finnmark county, from the lush surroundings of Alta, across the famous Finnmark plateau, through sparsely vegetated fjord landscapes, and finally to the moon-like terrain of Magerøya, home to North Cape.

Stories and Insights

Throughout the tour, our knowledgeable guide will share captivating stories and insights about the region’s history, culture, and wildlife. We will take a coffee break at a scenic location along the way, perfect for capturing memorable photos.

This experience is truly unique to the Arctic regions and is a sight you won’t forget. We will toast this achievement with a glass of champagne, and you will receive a diploma to commemorate your visit to this remarkable destination.

Norwegians are renowned for their love of outdoor activities, but these experiences don’t have to be strenuous or meticulously planned. The best way to spend a summer night here is simply to be outdoors with friends and loved ones, surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of Norway.

The Perfect Summer Night

Imagine a perfect evening by the fjord: the air is warm and still, and the Midnight Sun casts a magical, golden glow over the tranquil waters. As the sun hovers just above the horizon, it paints the sky in vibrant hues of orange, pink, and purple, creating a breathtaking backdrop for our evening. We find a scenic spot by the water, light a cozy fire, and settle in for a night of relaxation and enjoyment.

What to Expect

The most important thing is to be present and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. We’ll relax by the fire, barbeque delicious hotdogs, enjoy hot beverages and snacks, and share stories or simply enjoy the silence. For those who like to explore, there’s the option to wander around the area, taking in the beauty of the landscape and perhaps discovering some hidden gems along the shore.

As we sit by the fjord, we’ll listen to the soothing sounds of seabirds flying overhead. If we’re lucky, we might even spot some of the local marine life, such as small whales (porpoises) or white-beaked dolphins, which sometimes come close to the shore.

Capture the Memories

We understand that such moments are precious, so we’ll be sure to capture plenty of photographs throughout the evening. The best shots, featuring the stunning scenery and unforgettable moments, will be sent to your email, allowing you to cherish and share these memories long after the night is over.

Practical Information

Given the variable weather in Norway, we always bring extra clothing, and we recommend you do the same. Warm layers, even in summer, can make a big difference in your comfort level as the evening progresses.

What’s Included:

  • Hotdogs for the barbecue
  • Hot beverages (such as coffee, tea, or hot chocolate)
  • A variety of snacks
  • High-quality photographs from your trip

Additional Information:

  • The walk to our chosen spot by the fjord is short but traverses uneven ground. Good walking shoes are recommended to ensure your comfort and safety.
  • While we aim to experience the Midnight Sun, please note that this is weather-dependent and cannot be guaranteed. However, the experience will be magical regardless of the conditions.

Optional Extras:

  • Fishing from the Shore: If you’re interested in adding a fishing experience to your night, we can provide fishing gear for an additional cost. Please request this in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.
